The concern about cultural identity in the dialoguebetween the vernacular and the foreign, far frombeing a closed issue in the artistic and historiographicprograms in the 20th century, poses challenges that arerenewed in the multiculturalist agenda of global art.In the framework of an exploratory phase of research,a heterochronic reading strategy of the field is testedin order to rescue some temporary lines (linked to along-standing and local technical-scientific imaginary)that have the potential to organize a localizedperspective of the phenomenon. The objective isto expand the deviant horizon with which low-techaesthetic strategies are generally characterized, inorder to discover in them the presence of off-centermemories.Downloads
