Expansive and marginal: Marcelo Pombo in Fortabat
Keywords:
Pombo, expansion, marginality, curatorshipAbstract
This review of the exhibition Marcelo Pompo, unartista del pueblo shows the proposed curatorial narrative in relation with two fundamental concerns: the expansion of the artistic field and the visibility of some spaces of marginality. This article states that the curatorship identifies the artist with different roles, through seven thematic cores, what is considered most specific to his production. Also, the review analyzes the presence of certain works of art, their relationships with the space and other exhibited pieces, and the possible readings inspired by the tour.Downloads
