In order to develop a free and prosperous Galician culture far from the suffocating Franco dictatorship, as well as to resume contact with exiled friends, Isaac chose to reside in Argentina for a long time (1955- 1968), with brief intervals in Galicia. The stay in Magdalena implies the creation of a popular factory, in charge of producing modern forms but rooted in tradition (tableware and decorative pieces), a test for future Sargadelos ceramics. Likewise, the editorial experience of Luis Seoane will be decisive in the origin of Ediciós do Castro and in the contact with Argentine intellectuals; in addition, he began his prolific literary activity with two published books, previously censored in Galicia, one with short story: Unha presa de dibuxos feitos por Isaac Díaz Pardo de xente do seu rueiro (1956) and another one of drama: Midas. O ángulo de pedra (1957).Downloads
