Abstract

Four years after the Laboria Cubonicks collective presented the xenofeminist manifesto, Helen Hester delves into Xenofeminism about certain assumptions and general concepts from the manifest, which are useful to approach the central issue of her research: the future of reproduction, biological as well as social. Through critical analysis of different perspectives and representations about the reproductive future, the author traces possible paths to other forms of affective laces and new practices of hospitality; paths that are crossed by technological transformations and their use for emancipatory purposes.
