Abstract

In Visual Time. Image in History (2013), Keith Moxey deals with the concepts of time, image and history without giving hermetic definitions but, on the contrary, problematizing these concepts and putting them into dialogue. At the same time, the author explores the boundaries of History of Art as a discipline. In other words, Moxey digs up about the way the art historian constructs and re-constructs the various temporalities of images.
