Abstract

Elsa Boyer develops an intricate analysis of Husserlian phenomenology leading to a local examination of free image consciousness or Phantasia induced by contemporary videogames and virtual reality devices. From the experience that provokes the contact with the virtual and the perceptual baggage that there are activated involving the kinesthetic, tactile, sound, memories and simulations; investigates the relationship between technical support, imagination and perception, expanding the frontiers of the phenomenological field. His work challenges us by asking us whether there is an essence of artificial perception? if so, what is it? and what conflicts does it inaugurate?
