Abstract

This book compiles the theoretical, methodological and pedagogical proposals addressed by the chairs Visual Language I and IIB (Faculty of Arts, UNLP), from their creation to the present (2004 and 2012, respectively). Hence its character as a summary of all those ideas and reflections that have been put into practice in the act of teaching. It begins by approaching the theoretical guidelines of a more general nature, but not for that reason traditional. Here is the methodological novelty: the topics that are analyzed are those that have been left out of the Visual Language study programs at the different educational levels. A work in constant progress that invites us to rethink artistic practice and teaching.
