Abstract

Throughout the history of art there were different modesof representation. After the mimetic representationsof the classical period and the modern episode of selfrepresentation, artistic contemporaneity presents new pathsin the construction of its thematic references. Under thisnew condition, the works of art of different artists recover, through contemporary modalities, the representation ofthematic areas typical of political art or autobiography.
