This article analyzes the installation El dominio del mundo (2017), by the Argentine artist Eugenia Calvo. In this work, a number of strategies that operate through the transformation of an apparently regular, day-today universe, can be recognized. The author questions our usual relation towards objects and space, and thus creates fictional stories. To do so, she takes into account both the structuring of the space in the Exhibition Hall of the Torcuato Di Tella University and the denied disposition of objects of domestic use, by obstructing their original function.References
