The present article tries to explore different ways of thinking about the interweaving between art and history. The work Homenaje a la flecha clavada en el pecho de Don Juan Díaz de Solís, an electroacoustic piece of 1974 by the Uruguayan composer Coriún Aharanián, will be analyzed and the Theory of History of the French philosopher Michel Foucault will be investigated. Observing the relationship between art and history and the concepts of truth and fiction in Aristotle and Heidegger we will study the possibility of elaborating an archeology in the history of music as a counter-historical and genealogical discourse that challenges the History of traditional music.Downloads
