Abstract

Interview with the Director of the National Film Archive of Chile about the work of shapinga national heritage, its preservation and accessibility; the formation of an audience for acinema with a small presence in the international audiovisual market and the production ofknowledge about Chilean and Latin American cinema carried out by the institution. All of thiswithin the framework of a policy of enhancing the value of the audiovisual as a patrimonialasset and the challenge that the constant transformation of the media system in the digitalage implies.
