This article analyzes the recent exhibition «Raul Ruiz: The Eye that Lies», displayed at the Salvador Allende Solidarity Museum in Santiago de Chile, curated by Francisca García and Erik Bullot. Through a series of reconstructions and documentation of installations designed by the Chilean filmmaker in the nineties, Bullot and García present a cinematic thought in stage. Ruiz´s poetics utilized installations as a testing ground to extend the forms of a cinema in a state of transition and transformation, now recovered by his initiative that links research, artistic production and cinematic thinking.References
