The Noticiario Bonaerense, produced by the provincial government during the decade 1948-1958, wich was compulsory in all cinemas of Buenos Aires, is practically unknown today. From a clear awareness of the value that moving images have in the configuration of contemporary social imaginary and subjectivity, the General Archive of the Nation (AGN) has launched a project of recovery and enhancement the documentary set, in collaboration with the institutions that ensured the survival of these documents for more than sixty years, in order to guarantee citizen access and ensure the long-term preservation of these historical images of a common past.References
