Abstract

This work aims to estimate the adequacy of the criteria for the analysis of the body movement of the members of the chamber duo during the performance of a musical work. This purpose is linked to the assumptions of the movement displayed by musicians, provide information about the joint construction of musical performance. The application of Laban system categories and the distinction between epistemic and intentional movements in line with the notion of resonance levels with music proposed by Leman (2008), such as variations in body movement and the interpreter during both instances. The application of these criteria provided data that account for body movement as a communicator of intersubjective musical construction.
