Abstract

The image triumphs in a global scene in which nothing seems real and, at the same time, it offers a kind of hyperrealism similar to the show. The attacks of September 11, 2001 suddenly overlapped the imagined with the possible, the regime of visuality went into crisis and the historical event recovered its density, apparently lost. To the transmitted reality, the simulacrum was to be put beforehand again. This article aims to distinguish the between of the visible and the invisible from the analysis of certain visual operations, which reveals the conception of the past, the present and history.
