Abstract

This article analyzes the role of the concept of dispersion in the aesthetic developments of the last years of Walter Benjamin’s philosophical production. In order to understand the importance that this category has for the author with respect to artistic creation, it will be necessary to make it explicit in the context of his ideas regarding the notion of experience. Once the new experiential horizon elucidated by Benjamin is understood, we will analyze the distinctive notes of a new sensorial structure. In this way we can understand to what extent dispersion becomes a fundamental condition for creation and art to come.
