Abstract

The aim of this work is to favor the value chain of the semi intensive pig production and to contribute, from the Industrial Design, to solving installation problems (pens) that improve animal health, the current working conditions and the competitiveness of the production process. From the description of two instances of community participation (one in Paraje Aditi, District of Magdalena, and one in Cañuelas, Buenos Aires) we will reflect on the copes and limitations of the technological approach put into play and we will evaluate to what extent it contributes with tools to work in the filed from the discipline.
