This paper seeks to establish the sense of the provincial as an aesthetic vector of Colombian art that is evident in the works of Beatriz González and that implies the projection of a place of enunciation from the artistic correlative and critical of the conditions that mark the context of artistic creation. The category of the provincial allows us to think about the way of approaching artistic production in Colombia and Latin America as an invitation to think about the language and motivation that gives rise to art. Through the dialogue with Beatriz González’s furniture, it is possible to reflect on this emerging lesson of Colombian art.Downloads
