The following text analyzes the visual production of Argentine designer Max Rompo. The relevance and particularity of his works focuses on the development of rhetorical operations that give a poetic meaning to his pieces. Using a data matrix built from the text Rhetoric of the Image (1964) by Ronald Barthes, works from the years 2012 to 2015 were selected and analyzed, which allowed us to identify the contributions made by the designer in the field of visual communication coinciding with the first years of the rise of social networks in Argentina.References
