Abstract

The images that integrate the Archivo de la Memoria Trans[Archive of the Trans Memory] show smiles wearing theirbest clothes, captured before a night out in town. The joyfor life, the meeting and the hugs make the family bondevident in this archive of women in the 80s and 90s inArgentina. These photos picture the counterpoint of manylives marked by persecution, death, segregation andviolence. Like a great family album, the archive motivatesencounters, stories and memories of those who surviveand those who are no longer present.
