Abstract

This research project aims to reveal the narratives presentat the conformation of the Argentine National State. Tothat end, the archive at the National Historical Museumwas surveyed. From this fund some commemorativepostcards were chosen, in the theme of the MayRevolution centenary, with emphasis in their historicalcontext in which they were obtained, and place of origin.The objective is to mark off their role in the collectiveconformation of the representation in the popular beliefof the National State.
