Abstract

In this interview Lia Munilla Lacasa explains her research on Visual Culture of national festivities of the first half of the 19th century in Buenos Aires. To describe in detail the importance of the iconographic programs designed for commemorative practices she enacts the different crosses established between the history of art, history and politics. Exchanges which suggest the various systems of visuality in regards to a new Bicentennial.
