From São Paulo, Cristina Freire offered us an endearing dialogue in which we were able to overcome language barriers and any technical eventuality caused by the muchmentioned virtuality. In this meeting, we review her career of more than thirty years as a teacher, researcher and curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the University of São Paulo (MAC-USP). Also, and based on her experience in working with archives, we talk about the importance of researching, managing and producing knowledge for Latin America from the commitment assumed by public universities in the recovery of histories of certain artistic practices that, for many years, awaited an attentive look, a desire or an impulse that puts them in value.References
