Mayores cuidados frente al VIH/SIDA. Infecciones de transmisión sexual a los 50
Abstract
Este proyecto de comunicación tomó como punto de partida el aumento de casos de VIH/SIDA y otras infecciones de transmisión sexual (ITS) en la población mayor de 50 años, registrados por el Ministerio de Salud de la Nación. La participación de este segmento en el total de nuevos diagnósticos de VIH/SIDA ha escalado en los últimos años, desde el 7 % en 2001 hasta el 20 % en 2016 (García, 2016). A pesar de estos indicadores en el análisis de campo preliminar se llegó a la conclusión de que este grupo etario no se considera en riesgo de contraer ITS y, en general, tampoco es visualizado como tal por la comunidad médica, siendo imaginada como una población sexualmente inactiva.Downloads

The cession of non-exclusive rights means that after the publication (post print) in Bold the authors can publish their work in any language, means and format; in such cases it must be mentioned that the material was originally published in this magazine. Such cession also means the authorization of the authors for the work to be collected by SEDICI, the institutional archive of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, and to be spread in the databases that the editorial team considers appropriate to increase the visibility of the publication and its authors.
Moreover, the magazine encourages the authors to deposit their productions in other institutional and thematic archives under the principle that offering the society the scientific and academic production without any restrictions contributes to a greater exchange of the global knowledge.
