Abstract

The relationship that has been found between the sign of the number three, the analysis about Peirce’s theory and design is represented in a his trichotomy: a semiotic trinity. In this sense, Peirce occupies, symbolically, the position of a God of the Science; as the clover of the Holy Trinity ( a Godhead divided in three), Peirce’s semiology (always divided in three) places him in the center of the scientific methodological logic (from the Research Methodology Handbooks and from Epistemology of Science books). We will show their utility applied to designs.
