This work aims at devise strategies to analyze stage micropoetics for infancies from gender and sex categories. Towards this goal, we will delve into Judith Butler’s position (2016, 2002) on gender performativity as a stylized and repetitive act which constitutes the generalized categories. We will contrast these with our understanding of Children’s Theatre as an identity-formative event. We will highlight its development from incidental ties between producers and viewers which are, thus, asymmetrical. Finally, for illustrative purposes, we will apply these strategies to La bella durmiente contada por una abuela, by Lorena Velazquez and Juan Carlos Fiasconaro.Downloads
