Abstract

Currently, we can see an important development of plastic artworks that articulate the production of images on bases which, far from being neutral support platforms, constitute complex devices. What we interpret as a shift of the symbolic production towards the context has configured new discoursivities that are difficult to classify. But, above all, it is there we identify for Engraving and Printmaking a singular scene in which continuities are evidenced and in which certain ruptures regarding the tradition of such discipline are consolidated. Therefore, we observe a particular way of getting into the fecund frame of permeable limits that contemporaneity suggests.
