The research delves into the analysis of the logo for the Bicentennial Identity of the May Revolution, linking it to the cockade and its impact on national identity. It offers a perspective on the country’s history and culture in relation to Visual Communication design, highlighting the significance of national symbols and their connection to identity. Additionally, it reinforces the idea of the designer as a cultural operator, demonstrating that design requires historical support. It is divided into four main areas: the history of the Bicentennial, the study of the cockade, design theory, and logo analysis.References
