Abstract

The article reflects on the experience in transfer projects between the university and textile cooperatives. It starts with the question, what are the ways to promote the development of design tools from the Science and Technology sector that strengthen the capabilities of Social Economy? As a hypothesis, it suggests that product design is the strategic means for developing management capabilities in the Social Economy and the indicator tool for Science and Technology institutions. It concludes that design can innovate when it collaborates with all stakeholders in systemic solutions involving innovative actions and shifts in productive logics to strengthen their members.
